Mammoth Mountain Announces New Rope-Ducking Policy

Mammoth has changed up its rope-ducking policy. If you are caught ignoring closure signs within the resort boundaries, your pass will be pulled for 30 days. If you are caught more than once, the penalty is extended to a whole year, and you may face criminal charges. These changes reflect the difficult job of ski patrol as they try to open the mountain safely after heavy storms. When riders are where they aren't supposed to be, it can make their work impossible to do safely.

It's super important that we listen to ski patrol. They are there to keep us safe and stoked, every time we head up the mountain.
