Skier Kim Gubser Breaks the World Record Ski Jump at Swatch Nines Switzerland

Check out this massive hip jump they built for the 2024 Swatch Nines event in Switzerland. Then get ready to watch a handful of the world's best slopestyle riders give this thing a whirl. 

A skier by the name of Kim Gubser showed up to break the world record for the highest ski jump. The last record holder was skier David Wise, who set the bar at a whopping 14 meters back in 2019. Watch the video and you'll see Gubser stomp the record. 

The whole event is a testament to freeride skiing's immense progression in recent years. Riders are just going bigger and bigger every year, it seems.
